Cadbury World Birmingham is located in the Bournville area, which is approximately 4 miles south of the city centre and for those people who want to know where it is, its address is Linden Road, Birmingham, West Midlands, England B30 1JR, telephone number 0844 880 7667. Its location is identified by the numerous road signs pointing one in the right direction from miles around the site. There is also free visitor car parking available.

Opening times do vary depending on the time of year, but are generally around the times of 0900 -1000hrs  opening and 1500 - 1700hrs closing, contact the number below to obtain the correct opening times for your visit.

You should allow approximately 3 hours per visit which will include the main exhibition, museum, self service restaurant, two shops and children's play area.

For the photography enthusiasts amongst us, photographs/images can be taken in most of the places you will pass through during your visit.

Cadbury World is one of the many places of interest in Birmingham and certainly a well known attraction for visitors of all ages and especially for kids. It should also be on everyone's list of a day or days out in and around the Birmingham area.

Cadbury products hit the shop shelves via the new product department of the company. Although it is not staffed by mysterious elves, pixies, or funny people waving magic wands, the staff of the department, although all human, are every bit as magical.

The very best new chocolate product people spend all their days playing with chocolate. Whether it's experimenting or inventing they are employed purely to come up with all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas. A great many of which will never go any further than an individual's desk; however, the most delicious will end up on the shelves of your local shop.

Cadburys new product teams come from many different backgrounds. They may be expert chocolatiers, formerly professional caterers, or even base their expertise on the science of chocolate. The admission to Cadbury World is by ticket which should be purchased in advance of your visit to avoid disappointment.

Admission prices for 2011 are Adults £14.30, Children Aged 4 -15 inclusive £10.40, Senior Citizens and Students with a valid NUS card or valid student ID equivalent £10.90. A family ticket for two adults and two children are £43.20 and for a third child an extra £6.20. 

5% discount applicable to all visitors who book online and by entering the promotional code "web". However, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any voucher/coupon.

For those who live at a distance and looking for other than by car transport alternatives, then there is a choice of either train or plane travel via either New Street Station or the local Birmingham Airport; both are either a taxi or bus ride away from the various Bournville sites.

For visitors looking for overnight accommodation then there are numerous choices of hotels to search near to Cadburyworld, or the city centre itself and at prices to suite all pockets ranging from cheap to expensive. You may have been a previous visitor and have already stayed at an acceptable hotel of your choice, perhaps the Malmaison?  For those wishing to also take in a visit to the NEC you will also find hotels in close proximity and near to both the airport and international railway station. You will also find local travel lodge availability.

Birmingham has a wide choice of places of interest and whilst in Birmingham you may find the National Sea Life Centre of interest and for its night life try meandering along Broad Street. For the shoppers why not try the Bullring or Pallisades shopping centres in Birmingham.

Although Birmingham is nowhere near the sea, its numerous attractions, shows and events influence numerous members of the public to actually base themselves in the city for a short term holiday or holidays there.

Birmingham itself is managed quite efficiently and effectively by the city council and businesses the world over are encouraged to consider setting up business bases there.
