Currently there is a national shortage of qualified electricians in the UK. For those who are currently unemployed or simply looking at the possibilities of a career change, there is a great opportunity for retraining as an electrician, with a potential annual salary of between £22,000 and £50,000. A recent survey within the electrical industry has indicated that the average gross wage for an electrician is in the region of £37,820.

Training can be provided for all age groups, both male and female and once training has been completed and the necessary qualifications obtained, who knows what opportunities await you, to either start your own business or working for someone in the industry to gain even more experience, perhaps before branching out on your own and eventually, even employing someone else.
